Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about Madgicx
Yes! The data is sent in real time, but Facebook can still take up to 72 hours to attribute and deduplicate correctly.
1-2 days from the moment we have all permissions needed.
Once we have access to all the required assets, we’ll set up your MCT infrastructure within 1-2 days. During that process, we’ll ensure no tracking downtime and a smooth transition from the old to the new tracking infrastructure while focusing on not losing any data in the process.
Third-party cookies are scripts on the website that try to capture data and send it to a “third party,” AKA Facebook or Google.
Sending data back to Facebook not only helps with attributing but also allows Facebook to optimize better based on this data. Meaning it's a win-win situation.
Sit back and relax.
You need to have one crucial thing in place for MCT to work: your Facebook pixel. At the moment, we do not offer the dev power to support pixel setup services or fix existing pixel setup issues.
You will get an email within minutes with instructions on how to give us permission. Once you grant us permission, you will see a form at the bottom of the email, so be sure to fill that out!
Apple's iOS17 operating systems and above block third-party cookies, meaning a lot of the data captured cannot be used by Facebook or Google due to data limitations. In addition, Google plans to launch something similar soon.
All the data will still be on your pixel, but we will close the cloud server and hand over the storage space to new MCT clients. Your tracking accuracy will drop again right after canceling. Given it’s a fundamental piece of infrastructure, we have had a churn rate of only 1.09% since we started providing this service.
First-party data allows us to provide Facebook with the data, meaning Facebook can now use this data to attribute and optimize better. If you're solely relying on a pixel, what you're working with is largely third-party data. This type of data has its limitations, especially in a rapidly evolving digital landscape where privacy concerns are on the rise and browsers are becoming increasingly stringent about third-party cookies.
However, with Madgicx Tracking (MCT), the dynamics change. MCT transitions you from third-party tracking to first-party tracking. This is a significant shift, as first-party data is collected directly from your interactions with your audience, offering richer and more accurate insights.
When clients come on board with us, we facilitate the installation of MCT directly on their websites and servers. This direct integration means that the data collected is inherently more reliable, accurate, and actionable.
The outcome? With MCT, you're not just collecting data; you're harnessing a more powerful, direct, and precise stream of insights. This enables platforms like Facebook to better attribute and optimize ad performance based on this data. In the end, partnering with us means you're positioning yourself to gather more meaningful and actionable data, setting the stage for more informed decision-making and enhanced campaign outcomes."
